With tonight being New Year's Eve, I started thinking about the obligatory New Year's resolutions... Some say they don't believe in them; I absolutely believe in them-- they're called "GOALS" any other time of year. But there's nothing wrong with using the New Year as a starting point to try and reach those goals.

I saw a couple of more creative ones, like:
In real estate, we say our new year starts at Labor Day... Keeps you from having so much pressure at the end of the year to start fresh, and really just keeps you motivated. But at this, the true New Year's Eve, I will be making several of the resolutions above. Again, they're goals-- like any other time of year, you'll get out of them the effort that you put into them. The more outrageous they are, the harder you have to work to accomplish them.
What about you? What are your resolutions? Do you think they're made to be broken, or do you actually work towards achieving them?
Just something to think about. Whether this was a successful year for you or a challenging one, I hope the New Year brings a new start, fresh hope, and happiness to all!
Happy New Year!
