Looking for some fun things to do this fall?  There are many to choose from in York County and surrounding areas!  Take a look at some listed below...

1. Scarowinds! Carowinds Amusement Park transforms into a haunted house themed park.  Tickets start at $31.99 (depending on the day that you choose to go). Go to http://www.carowinds.com/haunt2012 to read more.

2. Windy Hill Orchard and Cider Mill in York, SC, is open on the weekends for apple picking and Johnny Appleseed tours.  Windy Hill is located at 1860 Black Highway.  Go to http://windyhillorchard.com/ for more information.

3. In Fort Mill, check out the Anne Springs Close Greenway Fall Festival.  It takes place Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Oct. 7th through Oct. 28th. Events include a BBQ and Bluegrass Festival, corn maze, and pumpkin patch.  Go to http://www.leroysprings.com/default.asp?lsc=222 for more information.

4. Check out this list of pumpkin patches and corn mazes throughout the area, from Fort Mill to Gastonia to Mooresville: http://www.charlotteparent.com/articlemain.php?2012-Pumpkin-Patches-and-Corn-Mazes-near-Charlotte-3897

One of the best perks to living here? You're a short 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive to the mountains! Go check out the leaves changing during this peak time!  http://www.historichendersonville.org/event_highlights.htm
