There are SO many great things going on in Charlotte this fall!
The Carolina Renaissance Festival has been deemed one of the most "interactive entertainment shows ever created", with 16th Century style arts and entertainment. The festival is open every weekend through Nov. 20th. To read more, go to http://www.royalfaires.com/carolina/.
Do you enjoy sports? We may not be able to enjoy professional basketball right now, but you still have plenty of time to catch a Carolina Panthers game -- go to http://www.panthers.com/index.html for game info-- or a Charlotte Checkers hockey game! Go to www.gocheckers.com to find more information and game dates for hockey.
One of my FAVORITE late fall events in the area is the Southern Christmas Show. In fact, I typically end up going twice a year. You'll find 3 huge buildings full of shopping! this year, the event is Nov. 10th through 20th. Go to http://southernshows.com/scs/ to find more information.
The first weekend in December, make sure you check out Christmasville in Rock Hill! There are many events going on, including an art festival, 5k run, and snow for the kids to play in! Go to http://www.christmasvillerockhill.com/ to see all events and make your plans.
Of course, there are some great cultural opportunities in the Rock Hill/Charlotte areas every day. But these events listed are specific to this time of year, and all are worth checking out. Email for more information on any of them! Suggestions to add? Let me know!
