This is my final post this year about September 11th.  On Saturday (Sept. 11th), we had a Memorial Firefighters Run and Pancake Breakfast. The pancake breakfast was a success; the run was much more. I was the first one to think that the run was a little much-- firefighters running 3 miles in their turnout gear??? However, that day, it was a huge event, with a lot of participation, as well as people who came out to watch the runners.  There was a massive American flag, hanging over the road where the runners ended. It was a very emotional time, as firefighters and wives of firefighters.
